New Christmas Eve Traditions

One part of the move I was not looking forward to was making new traditions. So many of our holidays in Georgia centered around our friends there and now that we are in Nashville, we are having to make new traditions.  For the past several years, our Christmas Eve has consisted of having dinner with the Hazlewood Family. 

This year, we started a new Christmas Eve tradition with dinner with the Mosses, Mimi and Pop Pop and Uncle Melvin.  We missed spending the evening with Kate, Ben, Sam and Jack but very much enjoyed our night.

We started off the Holiday Season in style -  Breakfast with Santa on Saturday followed by the annual West End Christmas play.

The Children performed two songs and then the Bender Boys did a great job with Little Drummer Boy!

Yesterday morning, my childhood friend Leeann got married. It was a beautiful ceremony and the reception, a breakfast brunch, was different, unique, and delicious.

It was so nice to celebrate with Leeann who I haven't seen in 7 years. Also, the morning served as a mini reunion as I reconnected with several other high school classmates.

CMA Award Show

A friend from church texted me late Monday night to see if I would be interested in CMA tickets. I didn't hesitate with my response - Yes!

She was able to get three tickets for Susan, Emily, and me. Susan wasn't able to get a sitter so Emily's friend Sarah took her place at the Country Music party. It was a lot of fun to get dressed up and go downtown! And seeing the stars perform was pretty awesome too!

It's Back!!

Oh happy day! The Green Hills Grille has returned!

So many memories were made, secrets were shared and laughs were had around the tables of this place. So glad to have it back!!!
