Green Door Gourmet
Philip's first field trip of the year was to Green Door Gourmet. I was so excited to join him. I had heard of this place but never been and it was fun to explore for my first time with Philip & his friends.

Talk like a pirate day!I
Krispy Kreme's annual "Talk like a Pirate" day was today. If you spoke like a Pirate, you received a free donut but if you dressed like a Pirate, you received a free dozen!
Emily & I took the girls and they were the cutest pirates in the shop!

Tight
Jackson decided it was time for a new do! We headed to a nice salon where our friend Kenya works and she made her magic happen!
He loves his new look - it is just what he asked for. Make it "tight."

Battle of Bristol
We planned a weekend trip to Knoxville so the boys to go to the Battle of Bristol! Jackson ended up not wanting to go to the game so he and I went to see "The Secret Life of Pets." Elizabeth and Grammy enjoyed a Tea Party while the boys were away! So much fun!

Labor Day Bus Adventure
Our friends, Sarah and Drew, do not own a car. They travel everywhere via the city bus so when they asked if we were up for a Labor Day Adventure, we said "YES!"
They took us down to the Bicentennial Mall to look at the Farmer's Market & play in the fountains. Then we headed to Cory's Dog House for lunch and back to the church where we started/ended our adventure. It is amazing how much you can see and do when you aren't worried about traffic or finding a parking spot!
