Remembering Aunt Alice

Aunt Alice passed away on April 17. She had battled cancer for years and finally, her body had enough. She went down hill very quickly but thankfully, she was able to spend some time with her siblings and family before she passed. She was such a loving aunt to us and a loving sister to PopPop. She will be greatly missed. 

Betsy and Thayer had the visitation at the Belle Meade Country Club. We deemed it a Funeral Party and celebrated with friends and family the life of Aunt Alice.

Come fly with me!

Jackson was invited to go on a solo plane ride through OMS. We signed him up and Wesley took him and Philip (with hopes that he would get to fly too!) to the small airport in Smyrna. It is a good thing Wesley took him because after seeing the photos, there is NO WAY I would have let the boys go up in that plane with this pilot (he was only 19!!!) But the boys had a blast!!!

Lego Room

Elizabeth has recently had two activiites with her Kindergarten class. First a trip to the zoo. Followed by a math escape exercise in their class.
