Joe Biden and Kamala Harris - Making History!

Today, I watched with excitement, honor and pride, the inauguration of Joe Biden as the 46th U.S. President and Kamala Harris as Vice President. Harris is the first female and first person of color to be elected to this high leadership position. It was a beautiful celebration full of joy, possibilities and a peace that has been missing in Washington D.C. for the past 4 years!

2nd Impeachment

 Donald Trump is always making headlines! Today, he was impeached for the second time for his connection with the deadly riots that broke out at the U.S. Capitol.

As Vice President Pence was counting the votes to officially nominate Joe Biden as the 46th President, a riot broke out at the capitol!

Hollywood Studios

We have been waiting for this day for at least two years - ever since they announced a Star Wars experience was coming to Hollywood Studios - we were going to walk in Star Wars Land! I was excited - not really for seeing this for myself but rather I was excited about being with Wesley, Jackson and Philip when they first experienced this new attraction. 

It has been said that the best ride is also the hardest to get a ticket to ride - Star Wars Rise of Resistance. Wesley, Jackson and I all woke up early and tried to secure tickets - it is a first come, first serve distribution of the tickets and WESLEY GOT THEM! We were so excited! We packed up and headed out to Hollywood Studios! 

Mickey's Runaway Train broke down but we waited in line until it was up and running!
It was a nice break in the day!
