Visit with Mimi and PopPop

Mimi and PopPop came down Thursday so they could be in the audience for Jackson's school performance. We were so glad they could be here for the program and some family time. Mimi hadn't seen Elizabeth since she was born so she enjoyed some major cuddle time - including staying up with her all night Thursday night (which meant a full night sleep for me!)

This is where Elizabeth could be found all day Thursday and Friday

Before Mimi and PopPop left on Friday afternoon, each of us were allowed to open one Christmas present. The boys were very excited about seeing what was in at least one of the presents under the tree.

Philip got a new storybook, "Cars", read to him by PopPop
Jackson and his new Hex bug!
He really loved his new toy - and played with it all day Friday...
and even woke up and played during breakfast Saturday!

Wesley got a new bike! He was so surprised and excited with this new toy!
Wesley and the boys headed to the park on Saturday to test out Wesley's new toy.

Jackson's Christmas Program

Tonight was Jackson's Christmas program at school. This year was extra special because Jackson had a line to say during the performance! His line - "we were scared" was delivered perfectly! I was so proud.

Mimi and PopPop were able to join us for the show. They really enjoyed watching Jackson and his friends shine!

We were sitting in the back and when Jackson came on stage all four of us - Mimi, PopPop, Wesley and me - started waving at Jackson. He saw us and waved back with a huge smile!

Elizabeth was so good during the show! She barely made a peep!

Church Time

Tonight we took Elizabeth to church for the first time. She came with Wesley and me to our class and was a huge hit. She was so good during our discussion and only woke up at the end to see all those who wanted to meet her.

Dressed and ready to attend Grace Chapel for the first time!
The boys celebrated Christmas in their classes. Jackson got a new Tic-Tac-Toe game and Philip's teacher Mrs. Ann surprised him with a new "Super Hero" shirt. He loved it and wore it for 24 hours straight!

Early Visitors

Elizabeth has been able to meet many new friends this month:

Aunt Priscilla came by to see Elizabeth while she was in town for Thanksgiving!

Totally by accident, we ran into Kate and Allison during Elizabeth's first Target run!
Aunt Katey came by with a delicious dinner!
Aunt Kate just had to get in some cuddle time at Starbucks last week!
Amy and Hector dropped by with dinner to see Elizabeth

Minutha was in town this past weekend so she was able to stop by! yay!
She and her mom, Kavitha, loved on the boys and Elizabeth all afternoon.

Minutha never comes empty handed. She brought the boys these adorable hoodies for Christmas!

Mrs. Heather was in town as well this Holiday so she stopped by to meet Elizabeth!

Gingerbread House

Thursday, Wesley had an overnight work commitment so PopPop came down to stay with us. I wasn't ready to fly solo with all three kids, and I am so glad he was here! We had a great time playing with Jackson and Philip and loving all over Elizabeth.

One of the activities the boys and Pop Pop did was decorating a gingerbread house. A friend had given us all the needed supplies and the three boys attempted to make the perfect house. It took some maneuvering to get the icing to hold just right but they were able to piece it together and decorate it.

Sadly, about 30 minites after they finished, the weight of the candy took its toll on the walls and it fell to pieces. No worries - I have the pictures to prove their masterpiece!

The many faces of Elizabeth

We just can't quit taking pictures of our newest angel!

She has dimples!

That left leg sticks straight out all the time. I think my ribs took the brunt of that stretched out leg for 9 months. It now makes sense!

She found her thumb
Sunday nap time with Daddy
What's so funny, Elizabeth?

I have pictures of all three of the kids in this Nemo outfit! So sweet!

My dear friend, Sue, made this beautiful bonnet for Elizabeth.
All comfy in her crib.
Taking a break in the swing

Content to rest in her car seat...is that the preferred sleeping space for the 3rd child?
