Elizabeth's first bath

Wesley and I were planning on giving Elizabeth her first bath tomorrow morning, but a late night diaper blow-out moved up our plans!

We had to rush to clean her up so I didn't get to take the cute "first bath" photos. This snapshot from my camera phone is all I have.

We were so blessed that Grammy and KD were able to come down for Elizabeth's birth. They arrived just in time to watch the boys while Wesley and I went to the hospital; stayed with Jackson and Philip for the two and a half days we were in the hospital; and then stayed around for 2 more days once Wesley, Elizabeth and I got home.

They were a huge help with the boys, meals, and caring for Elizabeth and me. We couldn't have done it without their help!

Thanks, Grammy and KD, for helping make the transition from 4 to 5 much easier!

Cleared Calendar

We kept ourselves very busy in the weeks leading up to Elizabeth's arrival but we stopped planning things after her due date! Look at this calendar - All cleared and ready for our Family of 5!

1st Doctor's Visit

She wasn't quite up to her birth weight yet, but since she hadn't lost any more from when she left the hospital, they gave her an A+

We let Jackson go with us to the doctor and after the visit, he picked out a sticker for Elizabeth. 

Brotherly Welcome!

I rang the doorbell when we arrived at home, and quickly heard two sets of feet run to the door. Jackson and Philip were so excited to welcome Elizabeth home. It melted my heart. I am so thankful they love to love all over her!

Jackson also helped welcome her home by putting balloons on the mailbox!

We were discharged from the hospital on Sunday morning. Elizabeth traveled home in the same gown I wore when I came home from the hospital 32 years ago.

Wesley and I were a little camera happy while in the hospital but when you have such an adorable little girl around, it's hard not to be!
