Star Wars Weekends!

This past weekend was the 2nd Annual Bender Boys Star Wars Weekends (for some reason, Jackson added the "s" and it hasn't gone away!) This year, Philip joined Jackson and Wesley. Also, Rocky & his two boys, Shepherd and Camp, travelled for the fun. And FUN they had!

Ms. Nutha hooked them up with an awesome hotel, great tickets and a perfect Star Wars weekend celebration.
All packed up and ready to go!
Mimi made Jackson and Philip each a Star Wars backpack to take on the trip.
She also made all 4 boys a Star Wars pillow.

Rocky & the kids all piled onto the "Millennium Falcon" stroller!
Wesley nixed the stroller idea but Rocky insisted. It turned out to be a huge necessity during the day!

Breakfast at Play 'n Dine

Philip is not a fan of being near the characters
But he is a fan of seeing them all!
After the breakfast, the Stars Wars mania began:

When the stroller is full - Use a Back!
Breakfast at Chef Mickey's!

Ironman 3 Monorail!
They each picked out one item
Jackson got Star War legos and Philip a Buzz hat

Sign of a good trip - Pure exhaustion!

Girl Time!

While the boys were away at Disney, Elizabeth and I had ourselves a nice relaxing few days.

We started the girls time off by catching up on missed episodes of the television series, Downton Abbey. I had two seasons to get through and thanks to some long naps, I was able to finish them!

I tried to watch while I was feeding Elizabeth, but realized I wasn't doing a very good job multi tasking.

We also put Elizabeth in the Star Wars spirit with her Yoda shirt.

Saturday, I met up with Kate and Katey for lunch. Elizabeth enjoyed the girly conversation and the time out of the house.

Our final task for the weekend was to rent a steam cleaner and clean the carpets. It was hard work but obviously needed to be done! GROSS!
