Happy 35th Wesley!

I surprised Wesley with a night out to Medieval Times for his birthday.  He has always said he wanted to go see the show, and I thought this would be a perfect birthday treat.

Happy Birthday, Wesley!
I didn't know exactly what to expect but was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable it was. We had a great time and look forward to going back again with Jackson & Philip!

We were in the "Blue" section...
And our guy won! Yay!
Family Photo when we got home.

Starbucks

Wesley called to tell me that the new Starbucks drive-thru was offering free drinks today in preparation for the grand opening next week. I'm not one to turn down free anything so Philip and I packed up and headed out on a Starbucks run. How fun! A pumpkin spiced latte for me and a hot chocolate for Philip. Yum!

Leadership Forsyth

Wesley is involved in a local program called Leadership Forsyth. It is a year long commitment that inspires a network of leaders through an educational experience that increases participants’ knowledge and awareness of Forsyth County and increases involvement with community leaders, volunteers and the business community.

He has learned a lot about our county and enjoyed seeing spots we have never visited in the 10 year we have been in Cumming.  On his birthday, he traveled to the top of Sawnee Mountain and someone snapped a great picture of him with this beautiful view!

Garage Sale

We had a free Saturday and some items in our garage that needed to go so we decided to hold a garage sale. The boys had been wanting to earn some money so they set up a lemonade stand to go along with the sale.

Our garage sale turned out to be a bust. We sold TWO things! But Jackson and Philip did a great job selling their drinks. I think they had better marketing than we did...or maybe it was just because they looked so cute!

Fifty cents for a ice cold lemonade or fruit punch.
Several of Jackson's friends from school came to buy a drink.

Wesley spent the morning watching the boys sell their drinks and wishing we could make a little on all we had!

Craft Night

Kate hosted a craft night and we explored all the possibilities of burlap. I made a University of Tennessee football door hangers. How cute and how fun!
