Hollywood Studios

Day One of our adventure was Hollywood Studios. We were so excited to see Minutha during the day, enjoy the lights at night, and dine at 50's Prime Time Cafe for dinner. 

Thanks so Minutha's willingness to help, we were able to do much more than I thought we would. She helped me watch the little ones while Wesley and Jackson rode Star Wars; watched Elizabeth while Jackson, Philip, Wesley and I rode Toy Story; and then made Jackson's day by taking him on another Star Wars ride!

We began the day with Philip and Jackson's favorite part of Disney - the transportation. We rode a Disney Bus to Hollywood Studios while Elizabeth and Wesley drove the car. I tried to keep Elizabeth away from as many closed area spaces as possible.

The boys loved looking out the window and counting all the Disney buses we passed on our way! 

I began to worry about the level of fun we would have when the first words out of Jackson's mouth when we got off the bus were: "Are we going to get to take a nap today?" and Philip's were: "I don't want to be here."

But, once they saw Miss 'Nutha, they were all smiles!

First stop: Star Wars ride for Wesley and Jackson.

Jackson, of course, led the way!

While they were riding, Minutha, Philip, Elizabeth and I hung out in the gift shop.

Philip started working on his pin collection.

Elizabeth even joined the light saber fun..we could really tell she was enjoying it :-)

And Minutha and Philip did a little map work!

After Star Wars, the boys and Wesley went to the Muppet Show while I went to feed Elizabeth.

The Baby Center was nice at Hollywood Studios. The boys and Wesley met up with us after the Muppets show and there was room for all 5 of us to spread out!

After a little more map work, we headed to eat lunch, but not before a police man pulled over the boys to talk!

Minutha headed back to work after lunch, and we went to the Disney Junior area. Jackson and Elizabeth met Jake and then we all went to meet Mickey.

While we were waiting on Mickey, Jackson and Philip played and

After our visit with Mickey, we colored some Disney pictures. Jackson made one for Minutha...

That we later learned ended up in her office!

We scored great aisle seats for the Disney Junior show. 

After the show, it was once again time for Elizabeth to eat so the boys went to the parade while Elizabeth took a break for lunch.

Then, Minutha watched Elizabeth so Wesley, Philip, Jackson and I could ride Toy Story!

We took a hotel break for a few hours, and then came back to the Studios to see the Christmas lights and eat dinner.  

Jackson got an extra treat of another time around on the Star Wars ride!

The Disney Christmas display is amazing! We saw it in 2005 but with all three kids, it was even more magical! 

Our last stop for the night was dinner...I think we all enjoyed it but we were so EXHAUSTED that I can't be 100% sure! 

Overall it was a fun day!
