Pre-K Christmas Program

Miss Liz puts on a Christmas program each year with the Pre-K class at Grace Chapel and this year, it was Philip's turn to shine. He was the angel - a perfect casting choice! This is such a cute holiday tradition!

Selfie Smile

Wesley and the kids went out to dinner and he sent me this Selfie. It just made me smile!

Holiday Parties!

'Tis the season for Holiday parties! Today Jackson & Philip had their end-of-the-year Christmas celebrations. Thankfully, Lynne & Jack were still in town from Jackson's performance and they were able to help shuffle the logistics of the morning.

Jackson's party started at 9:00 and we built a Gingerbread house. He did a great job on his creation!

I loved spending time with Jackson in his class!
After Jackson's party, I had a few minutes before Philip's began. He enjoyed pizza, decorated a cookie and had a book exchange (in which he got the book he brought!)

I loved celebrating with this smile!
It was a fun morning and I am so blessed to be able to make it to activities like this at the kids' schools!!

And what great fun - I had a Holiday party too! Cory hosted a "Favorite Things" party with ladies from church and I got to celebrate the season too!

Watch out World - Jackson's a star!

Jackson's stage debut was tonight! He ended the semester of his 'Intro to music Theater' class with a small performance. He did a great job. It was a very short performance but he sang and danced and looked as if he were having fun.

There were a crowd of supporters cheering him on which I know he loved. It is such a blessing to have so many who love and encourage our children!

Hanukkah Party

When our amazing neighbor, Aimee, found out I was home sick and Wesley was out, she asked the kids to come over for dinner. Not only did the kids get to play with JJ, they also got a bonus surprise - A Hanukkah "Party."
It is the first night of Hanukkah so the kids enjoyed a Hanukkah Feast and the lighting of the Menorah. Aimee waited until I came to pick up the kids to light the Menorah, so I got to take part in my first Hanukkah experience. So interesting!
Taking part in this new experience opened up some conversation about the Christian and Jewish faith at bed time with Jackson. What a great new, holiday tradition...I just hope next year comes without the sickness!
