Mimi and Pop Pop

With Wesley in Costa Rica, I knew the week before VBS was going to be difficult. Kate and I spend most of the Friday, Saturday and Sunday before VBS at the church, and I knew the kids would not enjoy that much church time...and I wouldn't be much help if they were there with me.

I asked Mimi and Pop Pop to come down, and they said "Yes!" With Wesley's surprise appendectomy, he ended up being at home, but they still came and were a huge help. My dad and Wesley ran some VBS errands and helped with the set-up.  Mimi loved on Elizabeth and cleaned my house - something I had neglected for the past few weeks.

As they were leaving, I snapped this picture and love it of my kids so happy with their Mimi and Pop Pop.
