Nashville

During the VBS, Wesley headed to Orlando for the Ultimate Life Summit. After VBS ended, the kids and I headed to Nashville to spend time with the family while he was gone.

This trip, we stayed with Susan for several nights. It was so nice. Jackson and Philip loved waking up each morning to instant play time with Joshua, Caleb and Rebekah.

Susan & Tim were in the process of some home renovations, and we were able to see the beautiful changes in the house.

New green kitchen
New floors, paint, and bannister
In addition to the home renovations and our staying there,  Susan was also getting ready for our cousin's reunion on Saturday. The kids helped out Uncle Tim by weeding the front and back yards!

One day, I was able to take Joshua and Caleb to D1 and watch them workout!
WOW! Such a cool place!

We all slept perfectly in the guest bedroom!
We spent lots of time at Mimi's too! One day, we helped babysit Leighton.

She wasn't too fond of all the extra "help"!
I don't know why she didn't like this face "attacking" her!!

Mimi took the boys to get new shoes. Philip picked out Superman ones.
And put them on himself!
Jackson chose these nice New Balances!
Part of Jackson's birthday present was getting to go to the Lego store and pick out a set.

After a long and thorough review of the entire store, he opted for a Ninja Turtle set!

We attempted dinner at Rain Forset cafe, but Philip wasn't a fan.
He loved the frog hat, but wouldn't even stand in front of the restaurant for a picture!
Elizabeth would though!
A highlight of the trip was seeing Priscilla and her crew on Saturday! Priscilla and Todd had just returned from Hawaii and were picking up the kids at his parents' house.

Oh how I miss Priscilla!!!

We were able to get a visit in with Great Pop Pop and Aunt Alice too!

Saturday afternoon was the cousin's reunion at Susan and Tim's. We had a great turnout and a fun time casually catching up with everyone over dinner and swimming!

Action shot of her eating her peas!

Sunday, Elizabeth wore to church the a dress of Mimi's. Elizabeth's great, great grandmother made this pink dress on the sewing machine below! Wow!
