the benders: Thanksgiving Week

We spent this Thanksgiving in Nashville. It was a long visit with lots crammed in! We stayed at Susan's part of the time and Mimi's part of the time. Here's a recap of all we did:

Tuesday: We celebrated Elizabeth's first birthday with the Nashville crew. We were going to do a Smore's party at Emily's but it was too rainy and cold. Instead we partied at Mimi's!

Elizabeth will never have to worry with Jackson around! He worries enough for her. He is so protective of her. Here he is protecting her from the lighted candle.

I feel sorry for anyone who tries to date Elizabeth....they will have to get through Jackson...and that's after they make it through Wesley!

Then there is Philip - he just has fun with her! Here he is showing her how to get the icing!

Enough of this licking of the icing - she wants it all!

Wednesday: Mimi, Elizabeth and Mommy went out to Tucker Photography for Elizabeth's 12 month panel pictures. Wesley and the boys stayed back at Susan's and from the photos, it looks like they had a blast!

Thursday: Happy Thanksgiving Day! Susan was hosting so we spent the day cleaning, eating. and sleeping!

Friday: Jackson and Mommy had a special treat in store for Friday - Mimi & Pop Pop took us to see the Rockettes! It was awesome!

Again, it was too much for this little body!

Saturday: Saturday was hang out day. Wesley and Jackson went to the movies and Mimi & Mommy took the littles to get shoes. That evening, we all gathered at Mimi's to take Christmas card pictures. Though Mimi and Pop Pop opted to do individual pictures on the front of their cards, I think the group shot came out great as well!
