Jackson's school ends at 3:00 and his bus is supposed to arrive at 3:30. One of my friends had mentioned the buses run late the first few days of school so I was prepared for him not to be home at 3:30 on the dot. I wasn't prepared for how difficult it would be waiting and not knowing when my baby would be back in my possession.
Thankfully, our school posed updates on Facebook so Wesley, Philip, Elizabeth & I waited inside until we received the message they were on their way before heading out to the stop.
I saw the bus from afar and my heart starting jumping! I was so excited to see my Kindergartner.
When I saw him, I actually started clapping! So thankful he is too young to be embarrassed by me! |
I guess he loved his new independence because he didn't wait on us to walk together back hm. He just strolled home like he owned the place. |
