Mother's Day

Usually for Mother's Day, I get time away, but last year, as Wesley was enjoying quality time with the kids on Father's Day, I mentioned that's what I wanted to do for Mother's Day 2014. Wesley remembered that comment so he planned a day where I got to spend time alone with the kids.

I was treated to lunch at Moe's with Philip:

Then, after my rest, Jackson took me to the movies. We saw Rio 2 and it was adorable!

The best part was when he ordered concessions. He asked for popcorn, an Icee, and a pretzel. I thought it was for both of us but after placing his order, he turned to me and said "get whatever you want!" I declined because I felt we had enough to share - a feeling he didn't agree with. I was limited during the movie to the amount of snacking I could do!

Such a handsome Mother's Day date!
