It's never too early to teach your kids the importance of voting. Mine love going voting with me but I am not sure how much of that is due to their love of country or to the love of the snacks they give away after you have voted! My guess is the later!
When the house is empty and I have to go vote alone, I will look back on these days with smiles. Though I get a lot of weird faces when I drag 2 (sometimes 3) kids in to vote, I love having them with me and making these memories. It makes me think of my mom and grandmother and how much fun it was to vote with them.
