Lots of good events this morning. We get super excited about every step trying to remember that it's like step 4 of 50 smile emoticon But we celebrate the wins no matter how big.
A quieter, larger, newer and nicer room opened up on another floor. Since Philip was already scheduled for a second CT scan this morning, the nurses reserved it for us! So we are now "living large" with a room with our own bathroom, shower and a view of the small prayer garden outside. Yes, yet another testament that God is taking very good care of us. We have deemed our new room "God's cubby for Philip" for GCFP or short smile emoticon
Philip did great being transported for the CT scan this morning. After all the moving around, they plugged all his GCFP monitors up and all his levels were still normal.
As if God had not shown up enough in all this, the day shift nurse for GCFP introduced herself by saying, "my name is Lisette (sp?) and I was the charge nurse in the ICU when Philip was admitted Friday." . . . . . of course she was. Praise!
This morning's prayers are for:
1. Less to no swelling shown in the results of the CT scan -- we were told a preliminary reading shows decrease already
2. Continued increased Sodium levels
3. By name: Dr. Keyes, Dr. Reinser, Dr. Macolroy, Lisette, Carolyn
Today's wins:
1. Philip will begin getting nutrition today and we want his body to "play nice" with this
Thanks for your prayers. We are likely several days from the potential to wake him up from sedation but also know God and all His angels can Thanks for your prayers. We are likely several days from the potential to wake him up from sedation but also know God and all His angels can change plans whenever they so choose

All my best,
wes

today. "PBnJ" is always in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you Wes for aiways asking for specific prayers. It is so much better than
praying in general terms. The faith you and Leanne have in God allows you to
feel all those prayers and the arms of God holding you close.

We are praying for Philip (even my kiddos) and we know God is holding you all
