If you know me, you know I need my sleep. I am a 8 hour a night plus a good rest in the afternoon girl.
So, what in the world am I doing on night duty?!
Well, I'm here waiting and watching for my baby to wake up!
Yep - they are reducing his sedation medications and the process of waking him up has begun and I'm not going to miss this!!
Already, I've seen a glimpse of our Philip. He responded to the nurse and his eyes opened. I was there to try and comfort him and I will be here through out the night.
The same God who has healed our baby with such speed and loving kindness surely can give me rest without sleep!
Before you go to sleep tonight, please pray for:
Lisa our night nurse as she works with his medication.
Lisa our night nurse as she works with his medication.
Shannon and Wesley as they get much needed sleep.
Jack and Lynne who will be home with No School again!
Jackson and Elizabeth as they go through another day with no real way to communicate all the questions they have about what's going on in their world.
And please pray I can contain my excitement each time I see my boy's eyes!
I keep reflecting on this song and have to share:
How great is our God – sing with me
How great is our God – and ALL will see
How Great How Great is Our God!
How great is our God – sing with me
How great is our God – and ALL will see
How Great How Great is Our God!
