Dog Park

Wesley took the boys out this afternoon for a picnic lunch and Flash got to join them! After Elizabeth's rest, we joined them as well at the Dog Park. I think all 6 of us had fun but there was at least one little boy who was worn out by all the running at the park!

Which is which?

People keep asking who Elizabeth looks like. I think she looks just like Baby Jackson! What do you think? One is Jackson and one is Elizabeth. Can you tell which is which?

Library

Several weeks ago, we realized a perfect family outing was a trip to the library. The boys enjoy playing the educational games on the computers and love picking out a few movies and books to bring home.
Wesley and I enjoy it because it is free!

Elizabeth was able to join us on our outing tonight. The last time we traveled to the library was the Tuesday before Elizabeth was born. We checked out a few movies and I remember thinking "When we return these movies, Elizabeth will be here!"

Look who is in a booster!

Jackson has been dreaming of moving out of his car seat and into a booster for almost a year now. The doctor said as soon as he reached 40 pounds, he could make the move. Bless his heart, he has been stuck on 36 pounds since July! 

Every day - sometimes multiple times a day - Jackson goes to weigh himself in hopes of seeing 4-0 on the scale.  Well, today, he hit the jackpot! After school, he rushed upstairs and it registered forty pounds! 

Wesley wasted no time in installing his booster in the car, and we had one VERY happy little boy!

Christmas Lights

Jackson desperately wanted to put Christmas lights up this year. Thankfully, we had a few extra stands in the garage so he and Wesley spent the afternoon transforming the house into a light spectacular :-)

Jackson was pleased with his work. I think they did a great job. Maybe one year, we will splurge to go all-out but for now, this is perfect!

Aunt Emily and Uncle Ryan come to visit

Emily and Ryan were anxious to meet Elizabeth so they came down for a visit Thanksgiving weekend. They arrived late, late Thursday evening and stayed until Saturday afternoon. They were a huge help! They cooked, cleaned and held Elizabeth. It was such a treat to have them here.

How cute! Can't wait to head to Nashville in March and help these two when Baby Girl Moss is born!

Before Jack and Lynne headed home Tuesday, they ordered us a Thanksgiving dinner from Publix. We decided to wait to prepare it until Friday night. It was a delicious treat! 

Uncle Ryan played with Jackson and Philip while Wesley got some to catch up on some Elizabeth cuddle time!  

Friday evening, we all crammed into the van for a quick run to look at Christmas lights.

Christmas Tree Time!

We were able to put up our Christmas Tree tonight. I love getting our tree out and looking through all the ornaments. This year, Jackson was really into decorating the tree and learning all about each of our ornaments.

Black Friday and Starbucks

Wesley and I figured we would not be able to enjoy Black Friday shopping this year due to Elizabeth's arrival, but we were wrong! We were able to snag so many deals online! YAY! Here is Elizabeth observing her first Black Friday madness.

Friday afternoon, Jackson needed to run off some energy so he, Wesley and Ryan headed to Target. While Ryan did a little shopping for us (there were a few deals we couldn't get online) Wesley treated Jackson to his first Starbucks experience. Nothing like Father/Son bonding over coffee and chocolate milk! 

Thanksgiving

We spent a quit Thanksgiving at home with our new family of 5. We started off the day watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, and then enjoyed a Thanksgiving feast of hot dogs!

After rest, we headed to the park and enjoyed a few hours of a beautiful day. Then, we came home and the boys feasted on a Lunchable!

It wasn't a traditional holiday, but it was a wonderful celebration of all we are thankful for!

Brotherly Love

Over the past several days, we have noticed a trend - Philip and Jackson can't keep their hands off Elizabeth!  They love to hold her, kiss her, and sing to her. Jackson especially is all about helping out with Elizabeth. It truly is a beautiful thing to watch! 

They are singing "Twinkle Twinkle" to her in this picture! She was crying and they decided (on their own) to sing to her to calm her down.

We didn't think we would let Philip hold Elizabeth. He has a tendency to be a little rowdy and rough but around Elizabeth, he is so gentle! 

And, everytime he holds her, Jackson is right there making sure he is doing it correctly!
