I'm a 2L!

First day of school - 2020

2L at Nashville School of Law

We had the option of attending classes on Zoom or going into the school. I chose in person and I am so glad I did. The class is small - only 21 of us are in the classroom - and I feel as though being in person will help me concentrate and allow me to get to know our professors better.

2020 School: Knoxville Edition

One nice thing about doing virtual school is you can do it from anywhere! Since I needed time to stop and focus before my classes resumed, Wesley took the kids to Knoxville for a few days. They set up work stations and were able to complete their assignments from Grammy and KDs. Best part: During breaks, they could hop in the pool!

Back to School

Back to school looks a lot different this year! MNPS decided to offer all classes virtually until Labor Day when it will be decided what is best for September. We can't control our circumstances, but we can control our attitudes! And the Bender family is choosing to make the best of it. If we wait until things get back to normal to be postive, we will miss so much good that is going on right now!

We reserved computers from MNPS for Philip and Elizabeth (Jackson already has one) and set up school spaces for them in the house. We will have to make adjustments as we see what works and what doesn't but for now, we are going with it!

Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of Philip and Jackson on their first day back but I did snap a few of Elizabeth.

When it didn't work, we switched over to Mommy's phone!
