Jackson's April Pictures

Jackson loves riding his scooter to the park!

We went to Belk and found these shirts. Jackson is by his - "They said I could be anything, so I became awesome" And then there is mine - "I may not always be right but I am never wrong!"

Wesley's a Preaching Man

Our regular preacher, Kurt, was planning on running the Music City 1/2 marathon so he asked Wesley if he would step in and preach. Wesley, who has never told anyone "No, I can't speak in front of a captive audience!" of course, said "Yes!"

Once it was confirmed, I started inviting everyone I knew to come hear him speak. I was so proud of him and excited for this opportunity.

My parents, Emily, Ryan, and Leighton came in to hang out Saturday and then Jack, Lynne, Joel, Abby, Luke and Trent joined us Sunday at church. In addition to those out of town guests, several friends from our neighborhood, friends from the YMCA, and other family friends joined us too. Wesley had a huge network of people supporting him and he did great!

I don't think Emily & Ryan ever feed this angel!

There is some of his daddy in him - hamming it up for the camera!

After service, the families ate lunch together at Provinos! It was so nice to all be together!

Spaghetti

One thing I am proud to say I passed onto all three of my children is a love for spaghetti. It's never pretty eating it with them but it is a favorite food of all three of them.

Here's Elizabeth's first taste:

I found a picture of Philip enjoying it as well.

December 2011

I couldn't find a picture of Jackson which is surprising since he ate "Pas-Ghetti" two or three times a week when he was 18 months old!

Bridge to Greatness

The Cause Driven Consulting's first event was this week! The Bridge to Greatness conference took place in Nashville and was a HUGE success. I am so proud of Wesley & Christin! They worked so hard and all their work paid off! Way to go CDCG!

Jack was a speaker at the conference as well as an endless source of encouragement for Wesley!

The Prep work for the conference became a family affair. Jackson & Philip pitched in to help make the goodie bags and Elizabeth gave support by playing in the boxes all the goodies came in...Amazon should pay us for that advertising picture!

Live! with Kelly & Michael

For Macey's 16th birthday, Lynne took her & Shannon to NYC. They had lots of fun planned - tours, plays, and a visit to Live! with Kelly & Michael! How fun! On our first trip to NYC with Lynne, we saw Regis coming out of a store and this trip, they got to see the studio & Kelly!

Not the best screen shot, but you can see Shannon's arm, Lynne and Macey!

Easter Bunny Pictures

The Easter Bunny visited us at church Easter Sunday. Each family could get a family picture with him. Our family, had to opt for a photo without him because of Philip. And judging by Elizabeth's reaction, he won't be joining next year's picture either.

Egg Hunt at Church

Nothing compliments a beautiful handmade (by Mimi) Easter dress like a storm drain
The biggest "find" of the day was the bag of donuts Elizabeth confiscated from the Preacher's Wife!

Jackson spent so much time helping out Philip & Elizabeth that when he went looking for himself, there were no eggs left. Two of his friends' moms saw him crying and organized a little switch a roo with their kids so Jackson could find a few treasures. It was so sweet the way the kids and moms took care of him!
