Krispy Kreme

I needed to get a few things at Babies R Us so we packed up the family and made a Buford run. A trip that way is not complete without a stop at Krispy Kreme. (I wish I had a dollar for every Krispy Kreme post I had on my blog!)

The Hot-Now light was on and provided interesting lighting for the pictures of the kids.

Powdered Sugar for Philip
Football donut for Jackson
And a first donut taste of Daddy's donut for Elizabeth

Family Weekend

Emily, Ryan and Leighton as well as Ryan's parents and Mimi & Pop Pop came down for a visit this weekend. The Phillies were playing the Braves and some of the crew headed to the game.  It was a quick visit but fun. The weather was beautiful so we spent some time outside before heading to the game (Pop Pop, Ryan, Wesley, Philip and Ryan's parents) and shopping (Mimi, Emily, Leighton, Jackson, Elizabeth and Leanne).

Ryan took Flash to the playground. He did great on the walk over but wasn't a fan of the walk back!
Jackson didn't go to the baseball game because he was at Tucker's 7th birthday party. After the party, we picked him up and headed to the Outlet Mall.  At the Outlet Mall, he was overheard saying:
"It's dark outside so somebody better get me some dinner"
"Stop. You're embarrassing me!"
Guess he would have had more fun at the Baseball game!
Pop Pop is a huge Phillies fan and was so excited since this was the first time he witnessed them win.
Sweet Family!

Conversations

Wouldn't you love to know what these two are discussing?

GO VOLS!

Seriously!? Could they be any cuter?!

Happy Birthday, Wesley!

We celebrated Wesley's 34th birthday low-key and casual. The kids helped me bake a Samoas Cake and we sang to him the MINUTE he walked into the door!

This evening, Minutha & Gerald came over to watch the kids while Wesley and I went to Chilis for dinner and to the Lowe's parking lot for me to practice driving the stick-shift bug.  Fun Fun!

This morning, Jackson asked for help spelling "Dear Daddy" I didn't know what he was doing until he showed me his card...precious!
