It's Snowing in Georgia

Wow! What a Winter Wonderland! It started snowing here around 3:00 on Tuesday and made for a beautiful four day snow holiday!  It has provided a mess for Atlanta traffic but thankfully, we stayed in & stayed warm. Hundreds - including Ben Hazlewood- who were stranded for hours on the roads. We stayed put and enjoyed the four days of snow, snow and snow!

She couldn't wait to get outside!!!

She made it outside!

I couldn't find snow shoes so we used Lightening McQueen house shoes.

I looked up and saw Wesley & the kids coming from the playground carrying a partial snowman. We didn't have enough snow in the yard for a good snowman so they went and borrowed some snow from the park.

Here are a few extra shots from January:

I love this picture because it symbolizes what I have always thought about the relationship between the boys and Elizabeth:
Jackson is her protector and Philip is her friend

Face Painting

Jackson is always pretending. Today, he was pretending to be a Face Painter. He got out the markers and did a pretty good job on us.

This is a Pokemon he painted on himself!
Quite Impressive!!!

I am not sure what this is I am just convinced it is not appropriate!

Team Mascot

I would love a fraction of the imagination Jackson has. It's amazing what he remembers and then recreates at home.
Tonight, he and Philip were playing basketball in the garage when he asked if he could use a red basket for something.

"Sure:" I said, anxious to see what it would lead to.

It lead to his drawing a face on it and claiming he was the mascot for Philip's team! So creative!

The hats were his pom-poms
