Halloween

This year, we celebrated Halloween with Pikachu, Rapunzel and a Zombie. We had dinner at West End and then Trick-or-Treated down Richland Avenue with friends from the church and preschool.

The venue changed but the fun remained the same! The Surbers moved to a new home in Spring Hill but thankfully, their Halloween spirit moved with them! It was a great day for the annual Suber Family JAM!

Titan Up!

For the second year in a row, Mr. Ricahrd invited Wesley and Philip to be his guest at a Titans game. It was a late Thursday night game, but we let Philip go because that boy LOVES football!  He had a blast watching the Titans beat the Jacksonville Jaguars. 

A part of American history.

There is a woman running for President of the United States! I couldn't be more excited to cast my vote for Hillary Clinton. Great things are in store for our country with her in charge and I am honored to take my daughter and niece with me as I went and voted.

As I pressed my "vote" button, I looked down at Elizabeth and Leighton and thought about how different their world is going to be. They are not going to know life before women were given equal opportunities in politics. 

My grandmother instilled in me what a privilege it is to vote AS a woman and now I am going to instill in Elizabeth the respect and honor of voting FOR a woman.

One nice benefit of having Elizabeth in school three days a week is I am free to "do lunch" with friends. I have enjoyed lunching with Leslie several times over the past year and today we ate at one of our favorites - The Greek Cafe - and celebrated her 40th birthday!

Lucky Ladd Farms

I was able to go with Jackson on his field trip to Lucky Ladd Farms. It was a far drive from Granbery out to the farm but it was worth the distance. It was a great place for a Field Trip. There was so much to see and do!

Disney on Ice

With the boys heading off to Georgia so Wesley could speak at the Graece Chapel Fall Youth Retreat, Elizabeth found ourselves with nothing to do....so we got tickets to Disney on Ice!!!

The perfect way to spend a Saturday with my little princess is with the Disney Princesses on Ice!

Keenagers Auction

Last year, we invited Mimi & Pop Pop to join us at the WECC Keenagers Auction. We all had so much fun, we invited Emily & Leighton to join us this year! 

Dinner was delicious, the auction was highly entertaining and the girls walked away with new toys - A great night for all!

Mr. Baker loves the TN Waltz. Last year, he danced with Elizabeth and this year, Leighton got to enjoy a dance. Elizabeth was not jealous as she got to dance with Pop Pop
