Philip lost a tooth!

Philip lost his first tooth today! And in true Philip form here's how the conversation went.

P: MOM! I lost a tooth!

M: Philip, I didn't even know your tooth was loose. Did you?

P: Nope!

That kid!

Playdates

When our kids look back on their childhood, I am not sure if they will remember the countless number of playdates we had with friends from church, the neighborhood or school, but I have a feeling I will never forget!

I wouldn't be able to get through the day without my "Momma friends." When Jackson and Philip were young, my Cumming girls - Kate, Laura, Lisa, Jenn - got me through the day. Those ladies could never be replaced but thankfully, I have found a group of ladies in Tennessee who love to get tougher and do life just as much as I do.

AND!

Our kids get along too - Double win!

Happy Mother's Day to me!

It was a quiet yet perfect 2017 Mother's Day. We started the day going to church in the same car!! Then Wesley made lunch, the boys won their flag football game and then we had dinner at Satco!

Play Ball

What a treat! Our friend, Jason, called and asked Wesley and the boys to join him at a Nashville Sounds game. They had great seats and even were treated to dinner that was served directly to their seats!
Sounds win!
7 - 3 again the Albuquerque Isotopes
The game wore Philip out!

Huntsville Space and Rocket Center

Jackson had his first out-of-town Field Trip today. The third grade traveled to Huntsville to tour the Space & Rocket Center. I was so excited to go along as a chaperone!

Jackson and his friends, Garrett, Nya and Diane, were in my group. We had a great time seeing the exhibits and riding the rides.

Garrett was the only one in my group tall enough to ride the Space Shot! I was astonished he had the courage to go so high!

I love Jackson's happiness in this picture.
