Finder Bender

Well, there is a first time for everything! Today, after the boys got off the bus, our bus driver attempted to make a complete circle in the cul-de-sac. The street was not wide enough for the turn around so she had to back up. As she backed up, we heard a crash. She backed right into the neighbors mailbox!

I thought it would be a simple "whoops! I will be back to pay for that!" but turns out a finder-bender involving a School Bus is not that easy. She had to call the Public School security team and then Metro Police. The kids had to stay on the bus until our principal, Chad High, and our vice- president, Judy Chun, came and oversaw the kids getting off the bus & staying in our front yard until their parents could pick them up. The wreck happened at 3:15 and the bus didn't pull away from our street until 5:30. All for a little mailbox hit and dent.
