Wesley and I started brainstorming ways that I could get up to Nashville to spend time with Emily and Baby Leighton. Our Spring Break was two weeks after her birth, and Wesley suggested Elizabeth and I go up to Nashville during this break. He spoke with his sister, and she graciously agreed to come down and help with Jackson and Philip while I was in Tennessee.
Elizabeth and I left on Thursday afternoon and then the fun started for the boys!

Philip really enjoyed it! |
Wesley, Jackson and Philip were bachelors until Saturday evening when Shannon, Macey and Cole arrived. They came in very late because they waited until after Cole's basketball tournament to make the trip down here.
Sunday they celebrated Easter and Monday they played. All was good until Monday afternoon when Philip came down with the stomach bug. Shannon and Philip stayed home from the Hawks game. Tuesday morning, in an effort to keep what they thought was a nasty bug from going around the house, Shannon, Macey, Cole and Jackson headed to Chattanooga to spend some time with Joel, Abby, Luke and Trent.

Macey and Jackson |
Jackson had a blas t being with all his Bender cousins! Uncle Joel even treated all of them to a tour of Chattanooga complete with a ride on a duck bus that went in water!
Wednesday, I headed to Chattanooga to pick up Jackson and go home. I could tell from all the energy at Joel and Abby's that a good time was had by all!

Macey and Aunt Shannon enjoyed seeing Elizabeth when we did the children swap! |
